With Oceanic roots and raised in Polynesian dance, we have a deep love and respect for the spirit of the pacific islands. We are equally enamored with the vast and mysterious ways of the desert, where we currently reside. AURO is a beautiful extension of these two realms. We draw from both the openness of the ocean and the quiet of the desert, without forcing either. We feel movement should be shared and the body is not separate, and that we are always in relationship, always responding, always connected. This understanding shapes all we offer. Through movement, breath, ancient teachings and dance we create space for 2 truths to be equally held, honored & loved- a way of being that honors connection as the ground and spirit of AURO.
